Day 21 – Sunday 4th February 2018 – Magnificent Outcomes

Start the day

Write down 10 new Blessings and why you are grateful for them. Read each one repeating “thank you, thank you, thank you“, feeling gratitude for each one.

No-one wishes for a bad outcome to any situation

Whenever we do something, or approach a task or event which could either turn out good or bad, successful or not, we always only want the outcome to be good. No-one wishes for bad outcomes.

As humans, however, we seem to spend more energy on possible negative outcomes than on good outcomes. When we are called into the boss’s office, our first thoughts are “What have I done wrong?” or “what is he going to complain about now?” “Is my job at risk?”. A thousand other negative possible scenarios parade through our minds.

Think of any upcoming event being organised and someone is bound to say “I hope it doesn’t rain.” Buying a birthday gift for someone – “I hope she likes it.” There is an electrical problem in your house – “It’s probably going to cost a fortune to fix.”

Today’s Magnificent Outcomes practice teaches us how to attract only positive outcomes by being grateful for the positive outcomes before the actual tasks, events or situations.

At the beginning of the day make a list of 3 situations for which you would really want a positive outcome. A meeting you must attend, a doctors appointment, lunch with an old friend, or even normal day-to-day tasks or situations. Anything which could turn out either positive or negative for you.

Write down each one and imagine that you are writing this after each one has already happened. Feel that they happened successfully and wonderfully in your favour.

Thank you for the magnificent outcome to . . . . . . .

The second step for this practice is to choose 3 unexpected situations as they arise during the day and for each one close your eyes and say mentally to yourself “thank you for the magnificent outcome to . . . . . . . . .“. This could be an unexpected phone call, email, or an unexpected errand.

Use the power of gratitude to be grateful and thankful for the positive, successful and magnificent outcomes to situations to attract good outcomes.

From today onward make it a habit that whenever you find yourself hoping for a good outcome to a situation, that you change that feeling to one of being thankful for the good outcome to that situation.

End the day

When you go to bed tonight hold your Magic Rock in your hand. Close your fingers around it and feel it. Think of all the good things that have happened today. Choose the best good thing that happened and, feeling as grateful as you can, say “thank you, thank you, thank you“.
