Start the day
Write down 10 new Blessings and why you are grateful for them. Read each one repeating “thank you, thank you, thank you“, feeling gratitude for each one.
By now we have followed 26 days of Gratitude Practices. We have applied the Power of Gratitude to our relationships, food, health, money, work, our loved ones and all aspects of life itself.
Today we focus on the most important person in your life who you need to be grateful for. Yourself.
The best way to practice this is to stand in front of a mirror and look at that person and be grateful to that person. That person, you, is with you every second of every day and is with you in everything you experience. That wonderful person is the one who is with you every step of the way on your Journey through life and on this Journey to Gratitude.
As you look at the person in the mirror, say “thank you, thank you, thank you“. Thank yourself for being the person that you are. Think of any three things about yourself for which you are grateful.
Here are a few examples of things for which to be grateful to yourself. Look in the mirror and say “thank you for . . . ”
- Your creativity and bringing colour and beauty into my life.
- Your smile and positive outlook on life.
- Being a kind person and always going out of your way to help others.
- Being so hard-working.
- Bringing joy and happiness into my life.
- Enjoying the outdoors and nature.
- Being a friendly outgoing person.
- Your nurturing side.
- Your sense of humour and wonderful laughter.
- Just for being you.
Say thank you to yourself every time you see yourself in a mirror today feeling truly grateful to yourself.

End the day
When you go to bed tonight hold your Magic Rock in your hand. Close your fingers around it and feel it. Think of all the good things that have happened today. Choose the best good thing that happened and, feeling as grateful as you can, say “thank you, thank you, thank you“.
